Brief history of Karenni Baptist Association

Ladies, Gentlemen and believers


Firstly, may peace, pleasure and blessing be with you all by the name of God for acknowledge and involve yourself with us in the anniversary of Karenni Baptist Association Day worship service. 
The decision to establish the Karenni Baptist Association started from the meeting at A Bay Nay Zar Church, camp 5 # since 1993 and was confirmed as association in annual ministry meeting from 25 to 27 March, 1994. There are several reasons people flee to live in the eastern regions of Salween for propose of freedom and independence process whom included Christian or non-Christian. Some families and brotherhood of Christian whom far away from their mother church gathered and was carried on the Christian mission in this area. For that reason, depend on the political and civil condition, some religious and state's leaders conferred and agreed to established association of Baptist to carry on the mission for Christ. Objectives of Karenni Baptist Association are- 
Slogan- ( I press towards the goal for the prize of the upwards call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians- 3:14 )
1-      To effectively reestablished, reunited Churches and all members of Baptist under the principle of Christian.
2-      To acquire operation of mission works be within reach
3-      To encourage and support all member to become mature and deep believer in Christian's life
4-      To united ethnics diversity Baptist  Association to Baptist convention. 
    Because of families, brotherhood and membership of Baptist and responsibility leaders' hard working, we can achieve to the goal, according to the evolution of association practice in 2011. Although there are many difficulties faced into great advanced, by the mercy of God, we, Karenni Baptist Association can stand and carry on the mission for God. Even though lack of education, all Christ servants and teachers love their jobs, love their people and give themselves and hard working for good progress. Moreover, all Christian families, members or believers and teachers do not put out of your mind to forget your mother church where ever you are and whatever you do. I would like to conclude that we, all Christian, admit and act ourselves as a good Christian and try to get to our goal, according to the Psalms 137: 5-6; If I forget you, oh Jerusalem, let my right hand forget it skill! If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth- if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.
